To access this field's advanced validation features, click on the Validation Settings link at the bottom of the field box.


Validation Type. Change the type of validation to perform against this field. For example, instead of using the pre-built Email field which automatically performs email validation, you could set a Text field's Validation Type to Email and it will perform the same function.



Regex Pattern. Validates that a value matches a specific regular expression. To learn about regular expressions, try RegExr, a learning/building tool.



Equal To. Validates that the value is identical to another field value (useful for password confirmation check). Enter the VFB field ID number, which can be found by viewing the Template Tags pop-up.



Min Length. Validates that the length of a string is at least as long as the given limit. Integers only.



Max Length. Validates that the length of a string is not larger as the given limit. Integers only.



Length. Validates that a given string length is between some minimum and maximum value. Must be entered as two integers separated by a comma. Example: 6,10



Min. Validates that a given number is greater than some minimum number. Integers only.



Max. Validates that a given number is less than some maximum number. Integers only.



Range. Validates that a given number is between some minimum and maximum number. Must be entered as two integers separated by a comma. Example: 6,10



Greater Than. Validates that the value is greater than another field's one. Enter the VFB field ID number, which can be found by viewing the Template Tags pop-up.



Greater Than Equal To. Validates that the value is greater than or equal to another field's one. Enter the VFB field ID number, which can be found by viewing the Template Tags pop-up.



Less Than. Validates that the value is less than another field's one. Enter the VFB field ID number, which can be found by viewing the Template Tags pop-up.



Less Than Equal To. Validates that the value is less than or equal to another field's one. Enter the VFB field ID number, which can be found by viewing the Template Tags pop-up.
